A. Send an email to committee.spvc@gmail.com to discuss details of criteria for sponsoring our club. The biggest benefit of sponsoring us will be to have your logo on our website and marketing materials, and the possibility of logo on kit tops too.

A. As we are a club run by volunteers (including the coach), the main costs we have are sports hall hire, equipment and kit tops; the membership prices tend to be affected the most by this. Any donations of financial contributions or volleyball equipment would be welcomed. Please contact us at committee.spvc@gmail.com to discuss further.

A. This club has two training days.

A general training for all members of the club on Mondays, 8-10pm.

An additional training day on Saturdays which is exclusive for gold memberships only.
This day is also used for county league home matches.

A. Yes, they can. If there are not enough men available to play in a men's match, women will be invited to sign up to play.

A. No, they cannot. This is primarily because of the difference in volleyball net height. For women, the net height is 2.24m, while for men the net height is 2.43m.

A. Currently, there are not enough clubs entering mixed teams to have a separate mixed teams county league. Any club team that meets the criteria for a mixed team will have to play in the men's county league.

St. Philips Volleyball Club will not be entering a mixed team.

A. There is no restriction for a player to train with multiple clubs. However, if you are playing for a county league team, we would encourage you to play for that county league team only.

Exception is on a match day; if the opposition have less than 6 players, they can “borrow” a player to join their team.
